Careers: Intern for ABA Program
An Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) intern’s primary job responsibility is to implement curriculum programs & behavioral intervention for children to young adults with autism spectrum disorder and other disabilities. The intern also assists in writing programs and reports, conducting skill assessments, data collection, graphing, planning and leading small group instruction, and adaptation of the education program to enable students to benefit from educational experiences. The ABA intern implements teaching methodologies based upon the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis including discrete trial training, task analyses and works 1:1 with students. Other activities may include teaching job and life skills to students in the community and attending trainings regarding The Victory Center’s program.

The Victory Center is a nonprofit, nonsectarian center that provides education and services for children and families affected by autism and related disabilities. The programs and interventions utilize the evidence-based principles of Applied Behavior Analysis and are provided in a 1:1 to 3:1 student/teacher ratio within a classroom setting. Our mission is to provide outstanding evidence based educational services to individuals with autism and related disabilities in a caring and nurturing environment to help them achieve their individualized goals.
