Unlocking the capabilities of kids with autism

We believe all children, regardless of ability, should have access to an exceptional education within a nurturing environment to thrive at their optimal potential.

Back in 2000 the Victory Center began with Barry and Judi Nelson filling the autism educational gap for their son. Today we can unlock the capabilities lying within each child, and with our new Victory Center opening in 2018, we’re looking to help many more.

What Makes the Victory Center Unique?

The Victory Center combines highly effective intensive training with frequent opportunities for facilitated social interactions within its own classrooms or with the typical preschool on campus. Progress is measured at regular intervals and our daily goal is help our students and their families reach their highest potential.

  • Full day, year-round school program
  • Rolling enrollment (Join any time of year!)
  • Providing ABA in a classroom setting
  • One-to-one student/teacher ratio
  • Rated among the Top Schools for Autism in U.S.

We focus on comprehensive individualized programs with a 1:1, 2:1 and 3:1 student/teacher ratio, in a classroom setting that is unique in Southeast Florida. Most children with autism and their families do not have access to tailored, research-based programs.

Our Students

Our students are as varied as the spectrum of abilities within autism. New students we receive typically are:

  • Behind in grade level or require an adapted curriculum.
  • Experiencing negative peer interactions (bullying) in their current educational setting.
  • Having difficulty learning in a large group setting.
  • Exhibiting maladaptive behavior requiring functional assessment and behavior intervention with highly trained staff.
  • Experiencing difficulty finding meaningful community involvement (e.g., employment and recreation)

Each student at the Victory Center can thrive through 1:1 attention that enables us to customize the learning, therapy and interactions they receive as individuals.
